Paul Oldfield and David Heffron bring strong track record of leading innovation and transformational change
Sovereign Health Care, has announced the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors. David Heffron, Head of the Finance & Projects Group at multinational law firm, Pinsent Masons, and Paul Oldfield, a senior IT professional with over 35 years’ experience in Financial Services technology. Along with their sector-specific IT and legal track records, both bring extensive experience of leading transformational change and innovation programmes.

David Heffron joins Sovereign’s Board with more than 30 years’ legal industry experience, including senior leadership roles at international law firms, Addleshaw Goddard and Pinsent Masons. Currently a Partner in Pinsent Masons’ Financial Services Team, David brings extensive experience of commercial and regulatory matters relating to banking, insurance and investment firms to the Sovereign Board.
Paul Oldfield has been appointed to the Board with more than 35 years’ experience in providing Financial Services IT solutions and services, most recently in senior IT and Change Management leadership positions at Lloyds Banking Group. He has led large technical teams and is an expert in applying IT to business challenges and using technology to deliver transformational change, as well as in corporate governance and oversight.
