Q: Can I claim for treatment received abroad?
A: Yes! You can claim for treatment received anywhere in the world from a qualified practitioner. For example, if you buy your glasses while youâre abroad, you can claim for these under your Sovereign cash plan.
Claims paid for treatment received outside the UK are paid in pounds sterling at the current exchange rate for the relevant currency on the date we settle your claim. Please make sure you submit a valid receipt, and it would be helpful if you could attach a covering letter in English stating the treatment you have received.
