Bradford City AFC announced Sovereign Health Care as the club’s latest official partner.
Established in 1873, as the Bradford Hospital Fund, Sovereign has been supporting people’s health and wellbeing for over 150 years.
Davide Longo, general manager at Bradford City, said: “It is great to be working with a company which has such a rich history in the city, and we are excited for the future with Sovereign Health Care.
“As a football club, we are incredibly proud to work with local businesses. This is even more special when it aligns with our aims to support people and their wellbeing in the community.”
Neil McCallum, chief executive at Sovereign Health Care, said: “We were founded in 1873, Bradford City in 1880 – two Bradford institutions which have stood by this city for well over a century. That history matters.
“Football and health go hand in hand, helping people stay active, connect, and look after one another – exactly what Sovereign has been built to do since 1873. We are proud to partner with Bradford City AFC, and we look forward to building a relationship which honours the city we have always called home.”
