Today is #WorldHeartDay which raises awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and highlights the actions that individuals can take to help prevent and control CVD. It’s important to maintain good heart health to reduce your risk of CVD. The NHS recommends we eat a balanced diet, stay active and exercise regularly, maintain a healthy weight, give up smoking, and cut down on alcohol.
